Anyone successfully managed to get a WHM-managed server to auto-reboot via Crontab? Any suggestions welcome.

I used to run a server which I needed to reboot every 6 hours. I ran the following via cron:

1. pico/vi /etc/crontab
2. * 03 * * * root reboot

This would reboot your server everyday at 3 AM

Ok, I tried that crontab entry and it seemed to reboot my server over and over again from 3am to 4am. :) Not quite what I had in mind. Am I doing something wrong?

Just curious.... is there some reason you want your server to auto-reboot?
