Hi -

I've been looking for a way to have AutoSSL generate a cert that covers either *.domain.com or will cover the hosts pop, smtp, and imap. Loads of phone users are having to edit hostnames (we have to tell them how) when they're setting up their phones.

Has anyone accomplished this?

Thanks!
Beth

Hello,

pop smtp and imap aren't automatically created hostnames, they'd need to be created on accounts that are wanting to use them, first and foremost. Secondly if the subdomains are created autossl will cover them without the necessity for a wildcard certificate. You could though, use the Let's Encrypt provider which does allow provisioning wildcard certificates for wildcard subdomains, this is discussed in the documentation here: The Let's Encrypt Plugin | cPanel & WHM Documentation
