autodiscovery must be provided a valid email address

When I go to https://domain.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml our server replies:
autodiscovery must be provided a valid email address

Same thing happens on other domains hosted on our server such as:
https://example.com/autodiscover/autodiscover.xml

Where have I gone wrong?

Are you attempting to access the URL directly in a browser, or do you receive that error message in your email client?
