    AutoForwarding help - IP Resolver?

    I have a forwarding problem.

I created a domain name xxxxxxx.com it's on a different server at the moment.

I gave it an IP address of say 12.34.56.78

when i goto 12.34.56.78\help , it automatically goes to the xxxxxx.com\help site on the wrong server, no address forwarding on the server

    no forwarding in the codes.

    any ideas?

Could it be it's just an problem of 'absolute paths' vs 'relative paths' in your website? It's not technically a forwarding issue then.

In otherwords, the site is created with references to
    Code:
    instead of
    Code:
    '../help'

    Well, basically,
    i'm trying to just load

    12.34.56.78/help
    goes to www.domain.com/help

    12.34.56.78/help/
    goes to 12.34.56.78/help/

is there some sort of configuration resolver? that makes the ip go to the domain?

    on it's own.

the domain name is not transferred over yet, so it's hard to test the site.
