It seems we have an issue with a larger MySQL db on one of our servers we are trying to recover from via backups made by the cPanel/WHM scripts.
The db was backed up but the information within it stops after a certain table(mailing_list) and the rest, including an important products table, is not available... as if it were truncated due to a timeout setting.
Is there is a timeout setting within the backup script used for creating the mysql db dumps? I was not aware of one and would think this is a bad idea due this very issue- lost data. If the setting does exist how can I change this so it does not happen again with other sites in the future?
Needless to say our client is not going to be happy when we relay him this news. Any help anyone can give is appreciated. Thank you!
