Is there a script that creates a FULL site backup and then sends it to an email address?(not FTP but Email)

I wanted to try Justin Cook's script but I saw I have to configure FTP settings but I want the backup to be sent to an email(Probably a Gmail because of the storage they provide)

Also, I want it to be executed every 3 days

    How can that be done?

    Thanks

Just create a bash script to be activate by postcpbackup. We do our offsite backups that way but we use a python program called duplicity.

    Ok, I got the script.
How do I configure Cron Jobs to run it every Wednesday and Saturday(every week)?

I need the numbers I have to put before the command........

    You'll need something like this:

    30 3 * * Wednesday,Saturday "command to run the script"

This tells it to back up at 3:30am every Wednesday and Saturday. Obviously you'll need to substitute 'command to run the script' for whatever you're using.
