    Hello everyone,

How do I download a file created by a php script on a hosted web server to my local computer?

The scenario is that I have created a web form and that this web form output its input to a file in a specific directory. Now, how can I get the contents of this directory sent to my computer automatically everytime a new file is created? There must be a constant open connection between my web hoster and my local computer.

Can this be done through FTP? Any other idea?

You can create a web form like whenever someone upload files to your web form you will receive one mail regarding the upload and you can manually download that uploaded directory/files to your local computer.

There is no such inbuild feature in cpanel through which you can automatically download the uploaded files/directory at your local machine.
