We offer cPanel-based, WordPress-only hosting. We won't offer e-mail…we will recommend that our clients use Google Apps. In fact, we'd like to set up cPanel/WHM so that any new hosting accounts already have the Google MX records set up (as well as any other necessary parameters...for example SPF records and anything else needed)?

I'm assuming that this is a fairly easy customization of the cPanel DNS templates and/or skeleton files. But I'm not familiar with how to do it.

I've also seen this plugin that seems to accomplish most or all of what we want to do:

Google Apps Wizard cPanel plugin - GK-root

But I'm always hesitant to use third-party add-ons (for various reasons). And I'm not sure if this one does everything needed, including setting SPF records.

    Any advice/guidance would be appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Mark
