    Hi,

Is it a cron job that's used to get cPanel backups to occur?

Whatever it is, please can someone let me know how I can schedule backups, to be FTPd to another server automatically?

Many thanks in advance for your help

    Alex Robinson :)

Look in WHM in the back up options. There is an FTP option there. And, yes, it is a cron. It is the upcp cron in the root crontab file.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply.
I do not actually have access to root whm, as the system I am wanting to backup on, I only have reseller WHM.
Can I set a Cron in each cPanel account that I want to backup?
Could you tell me how to set this cron?

Sorry to be so useless! :)

    Thanks for your help

    Alex

I don't think it's possible. You could write a PHP/Perl script to create it and ftp it. Then just add the php script to your cron.
