I have a dedicated server with WHM and Cpanel. I allow registered users to sign up for a small amount of free web space and bandwith. Right now I manually add new accounts as people sign up but this creates a 12/24hour delay.

How can I automate this process with WHM and Cpanel?

    Use the accounting module.

It's in PHP and Perl. You choose.

PHP is what I used, and I integrated it with my MSN bot so I can create accounts through there :)

See "Using Remote Access Keys" for more information

    sorry one more n00b question.
Do I place the sample script in the http root with all my other web scripts or do I need to place this somewhere else?

I ask becuase of the require() line.

Also is this installed by default? I looked in my WHM to addon this mod but did not see it.

You also may want to try using a program like lpanel. It is only $20 a month and it will save you so much time it is crazy. Same website as cpanel...just replace the "c" with an "l" and you will see what I am talking about.
