Hi for months now we keep getting emails for customers who have an autoresponder setup on their account. Anyone know why or how we can stop this please.

Hello :)

You can have them disable their auto responder, setup a filter to block their automatic responses, or in the case of the customer using BoxTrapper, you could have them add your email address to the white list.

Thank you.

Could you provide a specific example of this? I'm not sure I understand the last part of that statement.

Thanks.

Ok say one customer setup an auto responder for their emails, when someone sends them an email and their auto responder sends them a reply our server sends us one also.

To clarify, you are sent a copy of all auto-responses sent out from their account? Are you sure there are no custom filter rules added to their account that result in that email being sent? What do you see when you review the message in /var/log/exim_mainlog?

Thank you.

Feel free to open a support ticket so we can take a closer look and see why this is happening. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

Thanks.
