    Hi,

In the past, we've had to move our cPanel server to a new IP. We used the excellent migration tool to do this, all the sites moved without issue and all DNS records where updated.

However, whenever an account is setup, it is by default setup on an IP that we no longer use. This IP is not listed in the IP Address List so I am curious as to where cPanel is finding the old IP and deciding that it's the best to use.

Due to this issue, whenever an account is setup we have to manually reconfigure the account to use one of the correct IP addresses.

How can I resolve this issue?

Please make sure that you have used correct IP address on Basic cPanel/WHM Setup --> Main Shared Virtual Host IP. The IP address should be your Main Shared server IP.
