    Hello.
I have some projects that run from another DocumentRoot. The owner of that folder is another user, not cpanel domain owner user. So when AutoSSL runs on those domains i get permission denied as it can't create the .well-known folder.
    So i have 2 questions.
    1. Can i configure AutoSSL to run as another user? It's obviously a security risk and i'd like to avoid it, but is that an option?
    2. Can i configure some general folder, e.g. under apache user, that ALL acme challenges will go to?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello,

That type of configuration is unsupported, and thus features like AutoSSL will fail during the domain validation attempt. There's no workaround available, but there is more discussion of this on the following thread:

Apache config for sharing domain document root

    Thank you.
