Couple of questions relative to this cool feature:

    1. I am presuming the certificate is automatically renewed before the 90 day period has expired?

    2. What happens with users whom have a paid SSL certificate (eg. Trustwave), then allow that certificate to expire, is a new certificate from Comodo provided prior or after the expiry of their paid certificate

    Hello,

AutoSSL will attempt to renew its provided certificates when they expire within 29 days. However, due to rate limits, AutoSSL prioritizes new certificates over the renewal of existing certificates. You can read more about how this process works on our Manage AutoSSL document.

AutoSSL will not attempt to replace pre-existing valid certificates that expire in more than three days. Once it's within that three-day time period, AutoSSL will attempt to replace it with an automatically generated certificate from the provider you have enabled.

Let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks!
