How soon is the AutoSSL suppose to renew the certiticates? I have a domain in my Manage AutoSSL Hosts that expires in 7 days. Should it not have renewed it by now? There are a whole bunch of other domains listed for it too. See the attachment.

When is this suppose to renew?

Hello Scott,

Did AutoSSL issue the existing SSL certificate? If so, the following information from our Manage AutoSSL document is applicable:

Each AutoSSL provider may wait for a specific amount of time to replace an AutoSSL-provided certificate before it expires. For example:
  • AutoSSL attempts to renew certificates that cPanel, Inc. provides when they expire within 15 days.
  • AutoSSL attempts to renew certificates that Let's Encrypt provides when they expire within 29 days.
  • Due to rate limits, AutoSSL prioritizes new certificates over the renewal of existing certificates.
If it has yet to renew, browse to the Logs tab in WHM >> Manage AutoSSL and review the most recent AutoSSL check for the account to see if it notes any failures to renew.

Thank you.

Is it possible to change the days to renew for the cPanel SSL provider?
We'd like to renew the certificate 31 days before the expire date.

We use UptimeRobot and they introduced a SSL monitor which is fix to 30, 15, 7 and 1 day.
We now get a warning 30 days before and mostly again 15 days.
Because of these false warnings, all alarms might are no longer taken seriously.
