Awstats & Log purge

I've noticed that since the AWstats script feature was turned on, on our server that the logs are being purged which is causing problems for other systems that need the logs intact...

Can anyone point to a setting that needs changing to stop this happening... I'm familiar with AWstats and PurgeLogFile is set to false so I can only assume that some other feature in Cpanel/WHM is responsible.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers
