Client AWStats page is returning an error.

Warning: Can't read file "mime.pm" (mime detection will not work correctly).
Check if file is in "./lib" directory and is readable.

    How would I load that?

Also what command would I use as a cron job to update the stats automatically for a certain client? Not all users just one.

Ok I have tried to look for file here /lib it is not there, also tried to load from whm under RPM and also under perl module. I can not find or see mime.pm file as a option.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

Go to Awstats site download the zip and copy the mime.pm file into you /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/lib directory

looks like someone forgot to add it to the update:)

Sorry if I am missing something basic, I am a rookie :)

I got a new server with Cpanel and this version didn't have AW stats. I upgraded it (now running 6.20 #49) but still nothing.

I unzipped AWstats and copied the file mime.pm to the directory you mentioned above, but when I load CPanel still, I don't see it.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

    Hello,
This happens is you are using the latest edge version of cpanel and then upgrade to either the stable or release versions. If you do this with CPanel 6.x.x, Beware as exim and alot of other software gets screwed up and make the whole server wacky.

    Regards,
    Chris
