Hello, in my WHM logs i see the following:

usr/bin/perl /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/awstats.pl -configmydomain.com -update

Is there anything I can do to schedule this activity??

It usually happens in the day and bogs down my CPU. What is this command actually doing??

it's parsing your access_logs from apache using awstats.
you should look for the Log Scheduler in WHM (left frame, bottom)

there you can configure hours when logs should NOT run.

But keep in mind, if you have a busy server, and your site has alot of visits(witch means more logs) then you should leave the logs to be parsed all day.

I had a problem with a client, it's producing 1.5-2 gbytes access_log /day. And i had Log scheduler configured so that logs don't run between 9 AM and 6 PM. That was a mistake :). After three day, i had....BIG logs, that were unparsable.

And anyway, awstats runs with 19 niceness, so it shold eat too much.
