    Hello
while i was changing the server date i misstyped it and instead of year 2005 i made 20035
after a while i corrected the date again

    but now
    awstats in all sites displays
    Last Update: 28 Mar 2035 - 16:31

    Hello,

Not sure this would work but you could try it, at your own risk :)

    # replace '28 Mar 20035' '28 Mar 2005' -- /usr/local/apache/domlogs/*

    Then run your stats again.

Maybe try with one domain first, rather than * (wildcard) make backups of the stats and logs first.

    Hello
Thanks for trying to help me

i looked inside /usr/local/apache/domlogs/domain.com but i found logs between 31 March and 6 April only

anyway i ran your command and it gave the following output

also did and it paused for a while but i dont think it replaced anything as there could be possibly no "2035" from the start in these logs :(

i also tried deleting the file that has the year 2035 in the /home/user/tmp/awstats/
and that prevented the year 2035 to apear on the " years" drop menu of "Reported period:" of the summary of the awstats
but it still says "Last Update: 28 Mar 2035 - 16:31 " and when i clock update now it returns none
and all values in the stat for April are still 0 and from 28 march till end of march is telling 0 too

    waiting for more help please

You obviously need to modify the data already created for awstats (when you had the wrong date set on the server), as they are already processed.

Try the developers site for support for awstats, that may be a better channel if you can't work through changing what you need to change http://awstats.sourceforge.net/

    well

    I COULD DO IT FINALLY

for your all reference i did the following

    cd /home/usr/tmp
    cp -fr awstats awstats_backup
    cd awstats
    ll *txt

the above will backup your awstats log/config folder
and tell you the names and dates of all text file created by awstats
now delete the latest text file created there

now it will display last updated [on a date before the text file u deleted was created ]

    OR

delete all text files in there
    and you will magically see
    Last Updated : Never Updated

click update now and it will recreat all ur stats [ takes alot of time ]
