background process killer explanation

    what i would like to know though is what these below mean.
    generic-sniffers
    guardservices
    ptlink
    services

    has anyone got a more expansive explanation for these?

    I am not sure exactly what each of these do, but I do know they arent nessacarily good. If you are experiencing problems then it might be a good idea to try killing these.
