    Hi,

Need some advice/tips on this one please.

What do you suggest is the best way to back up a server which can only hold 2 drives, both of which are already being used in a RAID-1 setup? Thing is that I don't want to create compressed backup files locally as this causes too much load and time? Hence I want an incremental backup, ideally via rsync, but to a remote server.

Any ideas please? Anyone done this?

    Regards,
    Suhail.

If I am not mistaken, incvremental backups works only on local drives and not for remote server.

Actually rsync via samba mount works nicely. Give it a whirl
