backup all the databases when mysql is not running

    Hi,

    My hard disk has gone bad and data center has rebooted the server in single user mode with only networking and ssh enabled (that means mysql is not running). Then I backed up all the accounts to secondary drive using following command:-

    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/cpbackup --force

    But, now I find all the account backups are missing mysql databases backups.

    Please advice how can I backup the mysql databases of all the users.

    You will have to copy the files and hope they are intact:

    Code:
    cp -R /var/lib/mysql /pathtootherdrive/mysql
    Other than either copying them to the new drive or scping them to another server, there isn't much choice here. If MySQL isn't running, a dump file cannot be created for each database.
