    Hello,

I have cPanel & WHM version v68.0.36. Is it possible to set up Backup Configuration just on other location (via FTP) not locally?

I have error when I left empty field:

    Best regards,

The backups are created locally regardless if they are kept locally or not, so still requires a path to store them temporarily.

    Hi @Elizabeta

You can choose not to retain backups locally by unchecking the box for "Retain backups in the default backup directory." This will not stop backups from being created on the server and stored there until transported to the remote destination and the default backup directory does still need to be declared.
