For some reason the 'download a backup' function is not working anymore. I requested my hoster for help, they placed a ticket at Support, but it has been over a week now and still there is no reply. I am not sure what my hoster changed, it used to work fine and all of a sudden it isn't working anymore. I cannot download a backup of the home directory or of the mysql databases. My browser opens the 'save' dialog with the proper file name in it, but all that is saved is a small 1k file. The 'Download a Full Backup' function is woking fine though.

These are the specs I see in cPanel:

    cPanel Build 10.8.2-STABLE 120
    Theme cPanel X v2.5.0
    cPanel Pro 1.0 (RC36)

Any suggestions on how to get it working again are very much appreciated.

    Harmen.

Try generating a full backup then login via FTP and download that from the root of your account.

As I said, I know this still works. But it is a bit cumbersome when you just want to download a copy of the home directory, or a mysql database. I want all backup functions to work as they used to.
