Hope this is the correct forum to report a bug, new to there forums.

After updating to V78 when manually creating a full backup in cPanel and checking do not send email notification, the system generates an email anyway. Not a biggie but thought it's worth reporting.

Thanks for taking the time to report the issue.

I've been unable to reproduce the reported behavior upon performing the following steps on a system running cPanel & WHM version 78.0.12:

1. Access cPanel for an account (both with a configured contact email address and without).
2. Browsed to cPanel >> Backup Wizard (and cPanel >> Backup).
3. Generated a full backup with "Do not send email notification of backup completion" enabled.
4. Monitored /var/log/exim_mainlog and confirmed an email notification was not sent.

Can you let me know if there were any steps you took that were different than the ones noted above? Were you using "Home Directory" for "Backup Destination, or a different destination option? Also, can you post the output from /var/log/exim_mainlog when the notification is sent?
