Hi, I recently obtained a VPS. I have had to move from resellers account because of the large amount of sites I have built up. Well... one of the reasons of moving to the VPS is so I can backup my site daily.

When I try and Enable Backing Up, the following happens:

    /backup is not a directory..
Backup has been disabled to prevent file loss..
    /backup does not exist..
Backup has been disabled to prevent file loss..

    Can someone please help me?

Backups on a cPanel servers are usually stored in the /backup directory, therefore you are getting that error message because it doesnt exist. Most likely this has been done as VPS has quite limited space to store files and then a backup.

Im not 100% sure this is correct, but login to SSH and use:

    cd /
    mkdir /backup

Then if you enable Backup it *should* work.
