backup files --- read on inside

    It would be neat if all files edited in cPanel would be saved as backup... what I mean is...

    If a user edits a file in file manager, a backup of the edited file is saved so incase the user made some sort of an error, he can revert back to the last edited file.

    Something of this sort would be great, don't you think? :D

    What's the question? If you want cPanel to consider it you need to log an enhancement request in bugzilla.

    The question is that is it possible some feature of this sort exists and could possibly be integrated into cPanel?

    Yes, It is possible. Suggest it to cPanel. Refer to it as a File Rollback, or maybe just ask them to save the backups temporarily (12 hours) in a tmp folder.
