    Dear Community,

I am having a question regarding the backup destination folder.

My backup folder was until recently /backup/ and I have switched it's location - new backups are now made in the new folder. Question: Am I free now to delete the old /backup/ folder and it's containing files in order to clean used disk-space without that any problems arise?

Some information would be very much appreciated.

    Thank you very much,
    Peter

Yes of course, I would think so. Provided your new backup location is working as expected and you have more recent backups located there now. Then I see no reason why you couldn't kill the old backups.

Thank you very much - I just wanted to make sure.

I wish you have a good day,
