Backup Function

    What exactly does the backup function backup?

    The backup function backs up the accounts and all associated data (weblogs, databases etc etc). It can also make a copy of the mysql dir, as well as backing up individual db's per account...

    And it backs up all the system config files and directories needed to rollback or restore a machine, like the files in /etc .. /var/cpanel/, /var/named .. /usr/local/apache/conf ... just to name a few

    which backup function are you referring to?

    No manual entry for backup

    Just look at the /scripts/cpbackup file to see just what files and directories get backed up.
