backup issue [moved]

    backup issue

    I uploaded a backup to one of the accounts, and i asked my admin to move the file to a higher directry, but he does not seem to know how exactly he does it, i have tryed repeatedly to tell him, and he is still confused. Can someone please tell me how to get root access?

    Unfortunately to get root access you will need to ask your provider/admin.

    If it's a shared hosting account you have (not your own dedicated server), the simple response is going to be "No"

    There's nothing much you can do with your current host if they're refusing or unable to help you due to their lack of experience or initiative.

    Simply, I would suggest looking for a new host that is more responsive to your needs. The question you ask is a simple everyday action for a cPanel server admin to do.
