    Hi everyone,

    If you are like me and having the issue of the full automated backup not backing up files belong to nobody:nobody, i have the following solution.

    Firstly you will need to switch to incremental backups then add in the following file.

    nano -w /post/postcpbackup

    #!/bin/bash
    mount /backup
    cd /var/cpanel/users
    for user in *
    do
    /usr/bin/rsync -rpt --delete /home/$user/public_html/ /backup/cpbackup/daily/$user/homedir/public_html
    done

    * replace /backup with your backup path

    What this does is basically making sure that files belong to nobody:nobody will be rsync to the backup path correctly, as the cpanel built in incremental backup will still get a permission denied with such files.
