I have noticed in the past week or so a new file in /var/cpanel/backups which is getting up over 8Gb in size and iven our partition setup is using up a bit too much space

    the file is called metadata.sqlite

what is this file for? as i understood the metadata for accounts is stored along with the backup files in /backup or in our case on amazon

can this file be pruned or wiped?
