Hi all

I'm looking to utilise my existing resources to configure backups for my hosting server.

My server space is 89GB usable but it's already full by 65GB so a local backup is not possible. If I was to add extra storage to my VPS, that will be quite costly.

So I was trying to work out if I can somehow map OneDrive (1 TB space) to my VPS and initiate & store the backups on that drive. Would someone know if it's possible to do that? If yes, please tell me how.

If not possible, what other options can I use to configure remote backups and initiating the backups on a remote drive instead of the local drive?

Cheers
K

@cPanelLauren Thanks but unfortunately OneDrive for business supports file size only up to 15GB. So can't be used for server backup which is a lot bigger than that.

Would it be possible to attach a Windows server share via the internet and mount it as a drive on my cPanel server?

@ZenHosting - yes I do have root access but I want to use existing space available on dropbox/onedrive or the windows server without having to pay for anything else.
Fair enough.

JetBackup works with Dropbox and isn't very costly.

That custom backup transport is also usable for dropbox as well but you're indicating that you want to use onedrive but it doesn't provide you enough space. I think finding the destination you want to use that will be suitable for your needs would be first.
