backup question
Ok sorry in advance for this. I read http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=53580&highlight=backup+to+local+drive and the poster glasswalker explained what I want pretty much, but a little different: I just want to auto backup one user's account across the 'net to a remote drive using ftp. I don't want to b/u to be saved on the server first--just b/u directly to the remote drive. I'd like daily incremental backups. Also read http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=47076&page=5
Problem is, I looked up rsync and it's just too complicated for me to use.
Help?
The second part of the question is that when I tried to do a manual remote ftp backup, I got this error: Can't call method "login" on an undefined value at /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ftpput line 28. I'm running ws_ftp server 5.0. I can connect and dl files to it from other clients.
TIA!
