Backup script no longer working

    Backup script is now showing the following:

    Can't call method "login" on an undefined value at /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ftpput
    line 28.

    Same thing happens to me too... just recently got a cheap nas and was hoping to ftp the backups directly to it via cPanel.

    Full backups have always worked (although recently cPanel has been saving them with unusual permissions), however selecting the FTP transfer option results in an email with "Can't call method "login" on an undefined value at /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ftpput line 28."

    Don't have the interest in learning how to use their bug reporting system works... so maybe one day they'll notice these threads.:)

    Just to admit being totally wrong, if you are clever enough to install a firewall then make sure to open the port that you intend to use to send the backups - d'oh... that's what I forgot and it's working now... perhaps cpanel need to make the error message more descriptive though.
