Backup System Question...

I cannot find the answer to this.... have searched the forum.

I am trying to run /scripts/cpbackup

However, when the load goes above 2.00, it suspends the backup process. This causes the backup system to take a very long time to backup all sites.

Where do I change the setting for the server load limit. I want to change it to a higher value.

In you WHM >> "Tweak Setting" for the "Status" setting, you probably have this set at '2'

Status: 
The load average that will cause the server status to 
appear red (leave blank for default):

if the server load hits "2" the backup process will come to almost a halt.

In this case, the value you need to change is :

The load average above the number of cpus at which logs file processing should be suspended (default 0):

on the Tweak Settings page.

Also something to look at would be beehave's script to backup accounts, doesn’t zip the backups but it treats the server very nicely.
