Backup to PC via cPanel?

    Hi,

    Because we do not have the space on the server to backup to it, how can we backup to our PC please?

    Hi,

    At the moment, it may not be possible, however, if you have a static IP and able to configure your machine as FTP server, then may be you can directly create remote FTP backup onto your machine..

    If you do not have a static IP address for your machine, then only thing is you have to FTP to your server and download the backups on your machine regularly and remove the old backups, so the new backup works and when the backup is done, you can download it again and afterwards removing the old backup..

    Hello,

    The previous post is correct. You'd have to install a FTP server on your personal computer if you wanted to use it as a backup destination.
