backup, when do they happen?

I have installed a new disk and mounted it as /backup and the WHM feature is enabled to back up.

Questions.

When will it do it? There is no time.
Will it be a brand new backup each day?

The backups will be kicked off when upcp runs each night - by default at 2:57AM local time. See /var/spool/cron/root if you care to change the time.

how to backup guide

I have just added a new seperate HD for backups. I'm just not sure about what settings I need to give it in the WHM/BACKUP/CONFIGURE BACKUP part of the WHM.

This is a major noob question but if my physical drive is mounted as 'hdc' what then are the correct settings for it in the section of CONFIGURE BACKUP, BACKUP DESTINATION?
