My cPanel backups are completing with errors for a few weeks now. I have multiple cPanel servers, this happens only on one of them.

The failing message is:
roundcube: mysqldump failed -- database may be corrupt

I can find the following error in mysql error log, even though the roundcube database is very small (2MB):
Aborted connection 1085677 to db: 'roundcube' user: 'root' host: 'localhost' (Got an error reading communication packets)

The roundcube database is fine, I can manually dump it. I even tried deleting it and recreating it, but the error still occurs.

Please help, because of this I have to manually delete old backups daily!

Thanks!

Hi @Netcrusher

Ultimately the solution here would most likely be to convert Roundcube to sqlite - at some point, we will stop supporting the Roundcube with MySQL configuration. I do recall this being an issue in v74 of cPanel and the solution was to run the following:

Code:
/scripts/convert_roundcube_mysql2sqlite
Thanks!
