Backups and Restoration issues.

Dedicated server have only 60 accounts and full backups running daily to local drive and remote location. All are fine here.

But when customer restores a backup from latest backup file, its restoring old files only.

For Eg: Backup started from Feb 1 and every day full backups are creating and customer tries to restore Feb 15 backup, then old data is restored successfully and new data are skipped. how this is possible.

if we restoring Feb 15 backup then new data need to restore. Am i correct

The 1st thing I'd probably do is to extract the backup from the Feb. 15th backup to a temporary location and check that it indeed contains data from 15th.

Hey there! I agree with @quietFinn , extracting the backup from Feb. 15th to confirm it has up-to-date data would be a good starting point. If that doesn't help to shed some light on the issue I would suggest opening a support ticket with our team as having server access can be highly beneficial when investigating an issue such as this.
