Backups deleting new MySQL data

Hi,

One of my customers has said that all his new MySQL data (forum posts etc) is getting removed overnight.

I suspect that it is the backups doing this, as I can't think of any other explanation. I am using cPanel's backup scripts, using non-incremental daily backups.

The problem is not happening on all accounts, I have only heard of it happening on this one account so far.

Has anyone heard of this happening before? Anyone got any idea of how to fix it?

See if there is a cronjob or a script updating his forums DB.
