Ok, I get how the backups work, select the day ect ect, But I not fully worked this one out, See - My backups are set to weekly !

Now via SSH I go /backups

I see the clients backups in the /weekly , Now one thing I never really thought about, See my example,

    week 1 - Backup complete ( sunday )
    week 2 - Backup complete ( sunday )

where does week 1 backup go ? Or, Does the newly generated backup replace this file...

See, I'm going to use " every other day " backups, so.. it would be:

    Backup - Monday
    backup - tuesday ( skip )
    backup - wednesday
    backup - thursday ( skip )

and so on if you get me.. BUT, I do not want this to overfill one of the big HDD's we have. So all the blah blah and ect ect above - Does the newly created systme backup remove the previous one and save the new one till another one gets generated ?

    Thanks in advance

I think backup 1 is destroyed after backup 2 is done, so you will have the lasted backup only.

I was thinking this, Yet the clients disc is over 600GB. If I do this every other day and its not what I originally thought then I'm going to have one full HDD.

I just need some cPanel Tech or anyone who does know the full and correct output to confirm this before I change the settings.
