My backup setting is set to "Per Account and Entire MySQL Directory" and I just extracted a backup. But the only file in /mysql is openfileslimit. WHM 66.0.23. I am using MariaDB, but didn't think that would cause this issue. Any ideas?

    Hello,

Do you notice any error messages for this account in the most recent backup log within the /usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/ directory?

    Thank you.

This issue has been resolve for me. In my case it was a bad directive in the /etc/my.cnf [mysqldump] section.
