    Hi,

When doing backups in the past using cPanel's backup script (/script/pkgacct), I have found that sites over a certain size do not get backed up properly; the gzip file gets corrupted and cannot be extracted again. I think the size it stuffs up at is around 5-7gb. Does this problem happen to other people? If so, can someone please confirm the maximum size that you can back up using cPanel's backup script?

Also, what should I do about backups for the websites that cPanel cannot do?

    Thanks.

    hi,
I remember a a/c which was 6+ GB was not able to get backup generated in 24 hours when tried from cpanel--generate full backup.
but i was able to use SSH(/script/pkgacct user), and backup this a/c. it did took long but didn't gave any errors.

    see ya,
