I just want to say that these Distributers have poor communication and support. I have emailed them all within the past two weeks, and have sent multiple emails to them all asking various questions, and none of them will respond. Now that is BAD business!!! :mad:

These distributers? Which distributers are you a customer of that you are talking about? I highly doubt you are a customer of all of them. If so I appologise.

However, for some reason, I suspect you are not as yet a customer and are simply sending sales questions ( excuse me if I am incorrect ). In this case, I really don\'t think you can judge a company merly on the fact that they can not answer pre-sales questions in a timely manner. It is and should always be a companies responsability to answer current customer support related issues and then handle sales related questions. Although I do think that 2 weeks is a little to long.. so I can understand your frustration.

When I say distributors, I do mean the five or so listed on the CPanel.net web site. And you are correct in that I am not a current customer of any yet. And you are also right in that current customers should receive priority over me. But as a perspective customer, that really turns me off from even wanting to associate myself with a business like that. C’mon, it has been two weeks, and each have been sent about three emails from me, what’s the deal?

I\'ll be honest with you, I think half of these distributors are bade as well.. But I have seen the product in use and have used demos of it before I purchased it from a distributor and I really liked it, I do not even get close to the tehcnical support or get questions answers like I should but I like the program itself and use it. If you called Liquid Web they will pick up and set you up < a day. As for the other ones, I failed to get a response to even try and sign up.. When I called I got no answers.. But obviously if you took the time to fill out a registration for the board and post that no one replies shows that you have interest in the product and if you are asking a company a sales question and are really interested in the product then just wait and you will get answered.. Wouldn\'t you rather someone take time to answer you and give you really good information than get some quick reply possibly not being true because they didn\'d they there time?

Those arnt the only distributors. There are others out their such as the company i work for who havnt been using cpanel as long or dont have enought licences yet to be on the main page. Search Around for what you like. I agree back when i was looking for distributors to buy from i had a hard time contacting a cupple of them. I beleive Burst and powersurge where the 2 i was able to get a hold of.

Honestly we do attempt to answer the phones 24/7... we do our best.
Via email as well.

I can\'t guarantee we have a sparkling honed administrator every second of every day able to speak with peoplez on the phone, but we do our best to make sure such individuals are at least REACHABLE via those on call, no matter what day of the year it is.

You can\'t get stretched pretty thin, very fast, licensing this product to every time zone on the globe. We\'re doing the best we can.

Just an honest opinion from this side of the fence.

Hmm.. I am definitely surprised to hear this. Do you have an email tracking number from our ticket system that I can take a look at? I want to see exactly why you didn't receive a response from our staff.

I've only had experience with one distributor, but I would think it would be hard to beat the support I've received from Power Surge...a.k.a. Feanor. Faaaaast. Personal. Free beer if you ever visit Iowa (where the hell is that, anyway?)

He says they don't support the &insecure& reseller features of WHM. That's a real pisser, but I've not had many issues with that part of it. One, actually, but I'm not mad about it anymore. ;)

I will gather up all my emails and send them your way... I never did receive support ticket numbers, but it will all be there in the email headers of when I sent it. (and as of this last post, still no responce from any of the distributers!!!)

Hmm, I don't see an unhappy smilie...

Every email that is sent to any of our contact addresses gets assigned a tracking ID. If you did not receive a tracking ID from our system, that means that we either did not receive your email, or that you are not receiveing our emails.

Regardless of what the case is, I'm looking forward to getting to the bottom of it.
