    I am trying to install Movable Type.

    Upon configuring the config.cgi file, I receive the following error:

    "Got an error: Bad ObjectDriver config: Connection error: Access denied for user: 'culley@localhost' (Using password: YES)"

    I created a new mySQL database, user name, and password in Cpanel. Added the user to the database and granted full privileges.

    My cgi config file contains the following:

    ObjectDriver DBI::mysql
    Database mt
    DBUser culley
    DBPassword "example_password"
    DBHost localhost

    Any thoughts or suggestions on why I'm being denied access?

    Thanks,

    Culley

    If the data base has been created from cPanel then it should look like :

    ObjectDriver DBI::mysql
    Database <username>_mt
    DBUser <username>_culley
    DBPassword "example_password"
    DBHost localhost
