ban problem

    Hi. I have a problem with ban ip address. I cant ban any ip addres in phpbb. this only shows "No IP addresses or hostnames defined". where is the problem ?? :confused:

    You may want to ask on the phpbb forum, this is not related to cPanel. Off hand I don't know the solution, sounds like phpbb may not be fully configured.

    Aside from the issue in phpbb, if you have a malicious ip that you need to block, it's better to block them in the firewall so they can't attack any other part of the server.

    As for the phpbb issue, check your resolvers as that is a common issue with the phpbb ban ip function.
