bandwidth suspension problems

I have noticed that even if an account's bandwith is exhausted, its ftp and mails keep on working.

I have recently seem customers using 4-5 times their bandwidth limit. Their website was suspended with the excess bandwidth usage message, however their ftp connections, mails incoming and outgoing kept on working.

Can anyone else confirm this ? Is there a solution to this ?

Hi,

Kindly note if bandwidth has exceeded of your domain then, your emails and FTP will not work. You will have to purchase an additional bandwidth and your site will also not work.

There is only one solution of it purchase additional bandwidth from your current hosting provider.

there may be a bug in your cpanel, try to updat your cpanel through /scripts/upcp --force
