I believe bandwidth usage accumulated through the use of SSH and cron jobs is not tallied by cPanel. Can anyone confirm?

Particularly, using wget to download files can sometimes result in larger bandwidth usage than what is offered by cPanel's stats. Anyone have suggestions for incorporating bandwidth usage from these two services into the usages user's see? Any plans to incorporate these tallies directly into cPanel?

Disabling wget (and lynx, I suppose) is one way to go, but I'd prefer not to.

Bandwidth Usage

Hello,

You are correct, cPanel only tracks bandwidth for services related to cPanel. What you are doing is more of the bandwidth for the server itself. As of right now we do not have an "out of the box" feature for that. However, there are tools for use in command line that will do that for you. Please let me know if this answers your question.

Thank you,
