Although I receive a regular 'BANDWIDTH 80% USED' each month, could someone explain how it gets used up.

If your site is advertised, for example, on a Directory, does your bandwidth, get used whenever someone accesses the Directory, or do they have to click on your banner ?

Is there a some kind of list that explains how your bandwidth gets eaten up and where ?

    Thanks

Every time an image or webpage is called from your website, this will use some bandwidth transfer them to the clients browser.

Just having a link doesnt use any bandwidth unless someone clicks on it, then they will probably be requesting pages and images, there for using bandwidth...
